Home Fellowship Groups
Wednesday
This group has been meeting for over eighteen years. Throughout that time we have enjoyed many different ways of exploring faith. Various people have led it and many people have been a part of it. On two occasions members have responded to a need in the church and have become leaders of new groups.
It has previously been a weekly meeting but now meets on the first, third and fifth Wednesday of each month at 7.45.
Our meetings are a mixture of prayer, study and discussion. The study/discussion parts cover a wide range of material, including Bible Study, what our faith means in real life, social issues etc.
To help us with the sessions we use written material, audio tapes and video tapes The group has two leaders but everyone joins freely in the discussions.

Wednesday
This group has been meeting since 1989 and takes place every two weeks at two of the homes of members of the group. There are currently eight members of the groups and the sessions comprise an hour of devotion and bible study followed by fellowship over tea and biscuits. A wide variety of subjects have been covered and various members take it in turn to lead sessions.
The objects of the sessions is to question and debate, widen knowledge of the bible and bring members closer to God. Fellowship is also important with individual concerns being shared in confidence, support and prayer.
The level of study depends on the topics but is such that new members can be welcomed without feeling that that the session are beyond them.
The group also organizes one or two social events each year where partners and others are invited.

Monday
This group run by Christine and Janet meets fortnightly mostly on Monday! It comprises a group of ladies who meet to support each other, sharing both joys and sorrows. We also seek to find more about our faith through meditations, bible study and prayer. Please talk to either of us if you would like to join.
