Ladies Friendship Circle

The LFC was formed over 40 years ago and still has members who were involved in those early meetings. It is an important part of the work of Christ Church and offers friendship and support to all members. The meetings are held on Thursday evenings at 7.45 pm in the church foyer and start with devotions. Programmes are varied, there are speakers on a variety of subjects, musical evenings, outings and faith suppers to name a few of the activities. Visits are also exchanged with the United Reformed Ladies Monday Club and St John's Church Ladies Group.

In recent years, members have taken over the programme during the summer weeks providing light- hearted entertainment 'eats' giving the committee members a well earned rest. The Friendship Circle celebrates its anniversary each October with a Saturday coffee morning and special service on the Sunday with members taking part.
